    Hickory Stripe Logger Shirt

I'm happy to see where I can finally buy these shirts. Great, heavy, old fashioned shirts that keep you warm while you work outdoors. Great for Fall chores when a sweatshirt is too warm.

    Hickory Stripe long sleeve

Runs big, but I like that. Super thick material cuts the wind nice.

    How I made a mens size 42 Medium into a size 41

Hello again, Still wearing my custom altered size 42, size medium, and found a way to reduce the tight-back feeling of them (bought two this year) to fit like a size 41. If you're so unfortunate to be a mens size 41, I found that if you use a good stitch ripper tool, and take the time to remove the stitching from the square patch and Key label from the shirt, You can use scissors to carefully cut across the top of the patch, close to the inner bottom of the collar, the shirt will fit a size 41 much better. The tightness that was across the upper shoulder area, will now fit closer to your skin, relaxed and more like a size 41. Yes, the cut you made to remove the patch, will fray everytime it's washed, but quits fraying after a few washings, and you don't have to remove any collar stitching. Try it. I remove both patches from my two shirts and wear them like a size 41.

    Loggers striped shirt

I like the heavy material. The tail is long and that is good--won't pull out when I bend. I am 6'2", weigh 180 pounds the large regular fits fine. The pockets have "covers' which is nice--needles and dirt won't get into them.

HICKORY STRIPE LONG SLEEVE BUTTON LOGGER SHIRT

I had my two size small shirts tailored. One shirt tail was cut off even, 2-1/2" below the bottom button, and a 3" slit on both sides of the midway seam so it has a Mexican/Caribbean look and I can move in it. The bottom button was removed leaving the un-noticeable buttonhole in place, but necessary to not be constricted like being dressed in a tube. And I like it now. The other shirt's tail was reduced 3-1/2" below the bottom button but keeping the same original contour (although this shirt tail shipped with an un-even shirt tail cut (our seamstress complained). Now the shirt fits and covers like a regular shirt tail would. Maybe the original patterns for these shirts have "migrated" from their original form. It happens with aftermarket antique Harley parts. They stamp so many copies using the same patterns that the holes drift from their original positions. Of note: Imo, these shirts are not suppose to fit size "41" people. There never is a size 41, only a size 40 and 42, but that's life! Let you seamstress deal with it. :)
